Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Bubbles Distribution Influence in BubbleDeck Slab under Harmonic Load Effect

Reducing a structure’s self-weight is the main goal and major challenge for most civil constructions, especially in tall buildings earthquake-affected buildings. One of adopted techniques to reduce concrete structures applying voids certain positions through structure, just like voided slab or BubbleDeck slab. This research aims study, experimentally theoretically, structural behavior reinforced slabs under effect harmonic load. Tow-way 2500mm×2500m×200mm dimensions uniformly distributed bubbles 120mm diameter 160mm spacing c/c was tested Numerical analysis also performed with ABAQUS software. The results numerical model were acceptable agreement experimental results. presented by distribution carried out two-way load evaluated model. Two cases considered which kept critical free from bubbles. proved that significantly affected behavior.
